The SAN, which is being held on February 23 and 24, is carried out with the objective of analyzing the progress of transboundary cooperation and the degree of implementation that the countries are having in terms of the proportion of the area of transboundary basins subject to operational arrangements for water cooperation, within the scope of CODIA.
In the second day’s session, Alexandra Moreira will participate in the round table: Cases of transboundary water management in the region: examples of good cooperation and associated barriers in the development of arrangements, establishment of joint mechanisms, development of coordinated management plans, exchange of data and information, and financing of measures.
This High-Level Seminar is organized by CODIA with the collaboration of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
The results of the pre-selection will be sent to the author within 15 working days and the results of the opinion will be communicated within 30 working days by e-mail. It is expected that the research received, due to its academic rigor and timeliness, will contribute to the knowledge of the discipline of their specialization.
In order to guarantee the anonymity of the authors, it is necessary to eliminate from the files sent any information that reveals or suggests their identity. Authorship data should be included in a separate file, in the following order: title, author’s name, academic degree, institution of affiliation, e-mail and a brief curriculum vitae (maximum 80 words).

The project and the advances that have been made on the subject of data digitalization in multimodal transport, as well as in the exchange of documents in this sector, are being developed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the United Nations National Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). This work aims to ensure that multimodal transport and supply chains are safer and more efficient.
While digitalization is sought to be implemented in multimodal transport, as UNECE experts consider the supply chain to be multimodal, air cargo is presented as a key factor to develop, in an integrated manner, a new transport policy that adapts to the new needs and involves all supply chains. An example of this is the UN/CEFACT Multimodal Transport Reference Data Model (MMT RDM), which is a tool that has gained relevance due to the current situation of digital trade.
