When you remove the lid you will see that the top of the siphon has a PVC ring that can be raised or lowered. Once the symphonic canister is installed, you will have to glue the ring to fix it so that when you put the lid on it will be at the same level as the floor. It is preferable that the siphon is a little low than high. If it is low, you will be able to adjust its height with the ring or by attaching an extension with a tube. If it is high, it will be difficult to leave it flush with the floor because it will be necessary to cut it.
Then rest a ruler or guide on them that also rests on the siphon with its cover on. Put a level on the guide to check that the siphon with the cover on is at the same height as the floor screed will be once it is finished. If you have doubts about the height of the siphon, remember that it is preferable for it to be a little low rather than high.
It is important that the elbow that is closest to the floor, through which the water will come out of the sink pipe, is a little higher than its entry into the symphonic canister. Thus, the pipe that joins the outlet with the inlet will have a slight inclination towards the siphon so that the water does not flow backwards.

Javier Pozo, head of Employment Training at Egibide, puts forward several explanations for this lack of young people in trade professions. “The population pyramid has reduced young people. Young people are very saturated in orientation to the fact that they have to be practically all university students.” The implications of this are clear: “There are many trades that are going to cease to exist.”
Sergio also does plumbing and heating, and he misses professionals who know the trade. “We have been looking for new professionals for a long time, but there are no trained people. People who don’t depend on someone else. There are people who work as ‘pinche’, but they don’t know the trade”. And, without professionals, the work they can do is less: “You get less work because you don’t get to everything”.
While guild companies as we know them seem to have a dark future, the profession does not. “A lot of business groups have realized this. Now the electricity bill includes the heading ‘Household assistance’, where you have the right to call a handyman for five hours to fix your socket. That is what we are moving towards,” explains Javier from Egibide.
